Our Commitment

Accessible to Everyone

The Israel Squash Association is committed to making the Israel Junior Open 2027 website accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities, in the spirit of equal access to information and service.

Conformance & Standard

  • This website aims to conform to WCAG 2.0 Level AA, the basis of Israeli Standard SI 5568 and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations.
  • Accessibility was tested using the axe automated testing engine together with manual review on desktop and mobile.
What We Have Done

Semantic & Clear
Proper headings, landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer), descriptive page titles and a single H1 per page.
Readability
Colour Contrast
Text meets the WCAG AA contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, verified across all pages.
Images & Links
Text Alternatives
Meaningful images have alternative text, links and buttons have accessible names, and the map has a descriptive title.
Keyboard
Keyboard Friendly
The site can be navigated with a keyboard, including the menu, dropdowns and interactive elements.
Responsive
Works on Any Device
The layout adapts to phones, tablets and desktops, and supports browser zoom and text resizing.
Motion
Reduced Motion
Animations are subtle and respect the operating-system "reduce motion" preference.
Honesty

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible. We are working to improve them.

  • The embedded Google Maps on the Venue page is a third-party service whose accessibility we do not control. The full address is also provided as text.
  • Links to external sites (ESF, Instagram, Facebook, the ETA-IL portal) lead to third-party pages that are outside our responsibility.
  • If you encounter any accessibility barrier, please tell us — we will do our best to provide the information in an accessible way.
